Papageno & sixpack
Experience the quiet fascination of the mountains off the beaten track – ski tours in Filzmoos offer you unforgettable ascents through untouched winter landscapes and breathtaking summit views before you leave your own trail through the fresh powder snow.
ATTENTION:
The ascent is only permitted with a valid ski pass or a ski tourer ticket.
(No piste rescue service as long as the cable cars are closed.)
Skitour Papageno
- Starting point: Papageno gondola valley station

The start is at the car park of the Papageno gondola lift valley station in the centre of Filzmoos. From here, turn left at the end of the piste onto the signposted touring trail. This path leads through the idyllically quiet forest until you reach the regular piste below the Moosalm. Here you climb about 150 meters up the slope before turning left again into the forest. Now follow the instructions of the touring trail to the ridge of the Rossbrand.
In a wonderful winter landscape, the path now runs flat to the mountain station of the Papageno gondola, where you can stop off at the Schörgialm or change into your clothes at the cross-country ski house. Finally, you ski down the perfectly groomed slopes into the valley to arrive at the starting point – the parking lot of the Papageno gondola lift.
Skitour sixpack

- Walking time: approx. 45 minutes

The starting point of this moderately difficult ski tour is the parking lot of the sixpack Mooslehen. The signposted tour route towards Mooslehenhof starts next to the Atomic Brand Center. After crossing a small bridge, the path continues uphill in serpentines until you reach the alpine pasture, from where you can enjoy a fantastic panorama and see your destination in sight.
From here the route leads left off the piste with a short crossing of the piste in the upper section to the sixpack mountain station. Next to it is the Schwaigalm, which invites you to stop for a rest and change your clothes. Finally, you ski down the perfectly groomed slopes into the valley.
