Slope information
The two ski mountains called Rossbrand (1600 m) and Grossberg
(1380 m) as well as the pistes in the Neuberg district offer easy terrain for kids and beginners as well as red and black pistes for all ambitious skiers and professionals.

Sustainability
Modern ski resorts focus on sustainability by using green electricity for ski lifts and facilities as well as photovoltaic systems at mountain stations and huts. Environmentally friendly travel options such as train tickets reduce traffic and emissions in order to protect the natural environment of the Alps and ensure sustainable winter sports for future generations.
Ballooning
Nestled between the Dachstein and the Bischofsmütze, Filzmoos is an ideal starting point for alpine tours.
We are happy to offer you a beautiful alpine tour from Filzmoos between December and February. The meeting point is around 08:00 on the starting meadow in Filzmoos. The start is at around 09:00. After about 2 hours we will look for a nice landing spot in a valley. The chase vehicle picks us up again and we return to Filzmoos.
The balloon baptism marks the end of the balloon flight.
Summer in Filzmoos
Filzmoos is a hiker’s paradise! There are numerous hiking options from the mountain station. One of them is the hike to the Rossbrand summit cross. Once there, you can marvel at the breathtaking 360° panorama of the 150 surrounding mountain peaks.
