Papageno gondola operating hours
The Papageno gondola is open even in inclement weather. For safety reasons, closures may occur in the event of heavy rain, gusts of wind, snowfall, or thunderstorms. Prices and schedules are subject to change.

The Papageno gondola takes you comfortably from the center of Filzmoos at an altitude of 1600 meters to the mountain station in just 10 minutes and from there to the natural paradise of Rossbrand .
Enjoy the wonderful view of the Bischofsmütze and the Dachstein massif while riding the cablecar in the summer. Once you reach the top, untouched nature, fresh mountain air, lush greenery and the mystical high moor await you.
The ideal starting point for numerous summer activities in the mountains.
In bad weather conditions the lifts do not operate.

The Rossbrand panoramic trail starts directly at the top station of the Papageno gondola and takes you – suitable for pushchairs and full of enjoyment – past the three mountain pleasure huts : Karalm , Radstädter Hütte and Schörgi Alm .
The trail ends at the summit of the Rossbrand , which is not only part of the Salzburg Summit Game , but is also considered Austria’s most beautiful panoramic mountain .
Once you reach the top, a breathtaking 360° panorama awaits you: from the Hohe Tauern over the Großglockner and the Hochkönig to the majestic Bischofsmütze and the mighty Dachstein – here the mountain world shows itself at its most beautiful.
