Sustainability plays a central role in modern ski resorts. By using green electricity, energy consumption for ski lifts and facilities is switched to renewable sources. Photovoltaic systems (PV systems) on the roofs of mountain stations and huts also help to reduce the CO₂ footprint.
winter sports combination ticket
At the same time, environmentally friendly travel with train tickets is promoted, which significantly reduces traffic and emissions in the mountain regions. Combined, these measures help to preserve the unique nature of the Alps and enable sustainable winter sports for future generations.
