Piste rules & safety

... more than just safe!

The safety and well-being of our guests is dear to our hearts. So that we in Filzmoos can guarantee maximum safety, we count on the FIS piste rules.

They contain the most important rules of conduct for all winter sports enthusiasts, to ensure safe skiing in our ski area. In addition, wearing a helmet is strongly recommended!

Children younger than 15 must wear a helmet when using the ski slopes. For adults, wearing a ski helmet is recommended!

The 10 FIS piste rules at a glance

3 Choice of route
Piste users coming from behind should choose their route in such a way that they do not endanger piste users ahead.

4 Overtaking
Overtaking is allowed from above or below or from left or right provided there is enough space for the overtaken piste user to make any voluntary or involuntary movement.
