Village of culinary delights

Filzmoos is well-known as a village full of culinary delights. In addition to the top female chef, Johanna Maier, there are a range of smaller catering establishments contributing to this reputation. Best to get to know the culinary side of our resort quietly and with lots of pleasure after a hard day’s skiing.

Filzmoos as a balloon village

Filzmoos is also referred to as a mecca for hot-air balloonists, as balloon weeks have been taking place for many years now and the “Balloon Night” is a top event. The next balloon weeks will take place from 11th to 25th January 2020, the “Balloon Night” is celebrated on the 18th January 2020.

There’s lots going on during the Christmas period too – a Christmas Market awaits in the Village Square, there’s the Christmas Idyll at the Hofalm and lots happening at New Year too.
